One of the very few estates in Champagne to have a ‘clos’ (or walled vineyard), the 'Chapelle du Clos' comes from the walled vineyard located in front of the old church behind Madame Cazals' Chateau. Its exposure and geological makeup make it very special; enclosed by stone walls many years ago to create a kind of micro-climate. It's nutty, opulent yet lively. Lemon, nectarines, peaches and buttery brioche. The Grand Marques charge hundreds for Champagnes of this quality and provenance.
