Roughly half of the Aloxe Corton appellation is entitled to a ‘Grand Cru’ classification, owing to the superior quality of the terroir. This wine has an intense nose, revealing aromas of red fruit and an understated hint of spice. The intense, well-structured palate is rich with black fruit and beautifully balanced with complex acidity. The tannins are powerful, smooth and sweet.
