Harvested by hand from fifty year-old vines, this mature, beautifully structured Pinot Noir expresses strawberry and wild berry aromas. The flinty ‘Silex’ soil found around Sancerre, along with cool Loire weather, add a lovely mineral, smoky complexity to the palate, as well as subtle earth-derived depth. A sophisticated, beautifully poised wine, underpinned by expressive, but never over-powering red berry fruit.
